Site Review: Touch-Phone.co.uk

One of my friends in Cardiff recently offered to buy me a phone from UK. Over here (India) phones are not available on contract basis, making the touch phone a niche item and owing to the customs and excise duty, the price increases multifold. Knowing how to unlock phones in India he was fine with the idea of buying a phone that is bound to a contract in the UK. He asked me to choose a suitable plan and the contract. Sitting here in India I went through all the service providers over there. I had a hard time finding good options. Somewhere while keying in queries like - Samsung Touch Phones, Touch Phones pay as you go, Cheap Touch Screen Phones, I crashed on to http://www.touch-phones.co.uk/.

Overall the website has feature to customize the phone according to one’s monthly payment. I was able to search by manufacturer, model, and tariff. It also shows the top mobile phones which are being bought by other users. I was not much convinced with the website’s authenticity. Frankly speaking I doubt whether a user would actually buy a phone from this website. The website looks a bit shaky. But i really liked the feature to browse phones based on the contract options. That ways it’s really easy to compare different phones keeping in mind a specific budget. However the utility which enables one to find a mobile phone deal on the basis of tariff is quite handy. I personally would think twice before buying a mobile from this website simply owing to its shoddy interface which looks amateurish at the first glance. This would probably lead users to quickly navigate away from the web page without actually getting to use its handy features. A nice clean template with an attractive clear-typed menu would serve the purpose…
